Na-K-ATPase activity in rats.

Description

Na-K-ATPase activity at different sites along the nephrons of normal rats and specially bred rats which spontaneously develop hypertension.

data(NAKATPase)

Format

A data frame with 24 observations on the following 3 variables.

site

A nephron site factor (CCD=cortical collecting duct, DCT=distal collecting tubule, and OMCD=outer medullary collecting duct.

strain

A rat strain factor (Hyper=bred to spontaneously develop hypertension and Normal=normal rats).

activity

a numeric vector of Na-K-ATPase activity level (frac{pmol}{min*mm}).
